- Always wash your hands and clean all utensils and dishes you use to prepare food.
- Sterilize the bottle and teat by boiling for 10 minutes.
- Boil clean drinking water for 10 minutes; allow to cool down (40C). Pour the amount of boiled and cooled water recommended in the feeding guide into the sterilized feeding bottle.
- Add correct number of level scoops of Aptamil Comfort 2 powder. Lever each scoop with back of clean knife. Do not press down.
- Close the bottle and shake vigorously until the dry substance is completely dissolved. Place a sterilized teat on the bottle. Before feeding, check the temperature of the milk by putting a drop on the inside of your wrist. Feed the baby immediately after preparing the milk.
- Clean the bottle and teat immediately after feeding. Do not re-feed with the rest of the milk. Store milk powder in a tightly closed container in a cool, dry place, but not in the refrigerator. Use within three weeks after opening.

Aptamil® Comfort 2 should only be used under medical supervision. If fed with a bottle, your baby may not want to continue breastfeeding.
